The Islamabad High Court will take up former president Asif Ali Zardari’s plea seeking bail on medical grounds in two graft cases on Wednesday (today).
Zardari had approached the IHC on Tuesday to seek bail on medical grounds.
Co-chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), who is under detention on charges of money laundering and presently undergoing treatment at a hospital,His sister Faryal Talpur also sought bail while their lawyer Farooq H Nayik has filed petitions for their bail.
He maintained that he is suffering from a heart condition and has had three stents placed in his body. He said that he also suffers from diabetes which means that he has to constantly monitor his blood sugar levels.
